Counsellor, Therapist & Executive Coach

Thank you for visiting my website

Choosing a therapist can be daunting, especially when you may be anxious and at a low ebb. If you’ve had no experience of working with one before it can be difficult to know who to choose. One of the most important things is to choose someone you feel comfortable with.

My approach is to provide a warm, safe and confidential space for reflection; allowing you to explore your difficulties without judgement.

If you are dealing with:

Feelings of overwhelm due to anxiety or stress

Depression, feelings of inner emptiness or pointlessness

Low self-esteem or low confidence

Unhelpful relationship patterns at home or at work

The fallout from divorce or a relationship break-up

Difficult family members

Co-dependency – feeling too dependent emotionally on another or feeling they are too dependent on you

Trauma – finding there are inexplicable situations where you become overwhelmed and stuck

Anger management issues that are affecting important relationships

Addiction and shame that is damaging your life, or in recovery

Feeling confronted by facing old age

Facing cancer or chronic illness, or in recovery

Caring for a loved one with chronic illness

Bereavement

Wanting to work through difficult work situations

Wanting to work with gender, sexual and relationship diversity

As a relational therapist I take seriously the interpersonal impact of power differentials and social issues such as race, class, culture, gender and sexual difference, and work with these issues as they show up in the client's life and in the therapy relationship. I am also empathic to issues raised by the ecological crisis and how this can make a client feel overwhelmed, anxious and powerless.

I am ready to meet you to see if we are a good match for working together.
